The Call 1 to support cultural and intercultural activities in Matera and Tétouan is now open. The initiative is promoted by the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) within the framework of the Mediterranean Capitals of Culture and Dialogue 2026 which sees Matera (Italy) and Tétouan (Morocco) leading a shared path of cooperation across the Mediterranean region.

The call invites cultural organisations from the 43 countries of the Euro-Mediterranean region to submit proposals for artistic and cultural activities to be held between June and August 2026 in the two Mediterranean Capitals of Culture and Dialogue.

The aim is to support initiatives that highlight the cultural diversity of the Mediterranean, promote intercultural dialogue and social inclusion and create opportunities for encounter between artists and local communities.

Activities may include artistic performances, installations, theatre, dance, storytelling, craft and community-based projects, taking place in public spaces or cultural venues across the two cities.

Selected organisations may receive financial support of up to €5,000 for their proposed activities.

Deadline for applications: 4 April 2026 (23:59 CET).
