IN-LAND

IN-LAND, an artistic residency curated by Ombre Meridiane that uses cinema to explore the social and cultural identity of Matera and Mediterranean communities, reflecting on the power of images, cultural stratifications and the relationship between centre and periphery. It engages residents, visitors and students in a co-creation process involving interviews, observation, testimonies and Open Studios. The residency will result in a short film blending documentary and fiction, created together with the community and offering a new perspective on Matera’s tangible and intangible heritage. The artist of the residency is Miquel Puddu Roca, filmmaker and anthropologist.
