Pasquale Montemurro attended the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Politecnico di Bari. In 2014 he joined Syskrack Lab in Grassano, the first FabLab of Basilicata, as Project Manager. In 2016 he assumed the role of Lab Manager and in the same year the small digital manufacturing laboratory was counted among the 10 most important FabLabs in Italy by Wired magazine. At Syskrack Lab he has designed projects such as the Syskrack Evo open source 3D printer and the portable digital radio/FM Open Radio, and joined the international e-Nable community for the production and donation of low-cost prosthesis in 3D printing for

children. Since 2015 he has held courses in CAD drawing and additive manufacturing, training more than 100 students and professionals. In 2017 he founded Bad Maker Lab, a company of professional services for 3D printing rapid prototyping, training, consulting and supply of machinery and consumables. From January 2018 he is Lab Manager at the Open Design School of Matera.
