Vernissage of the exhibition “The sea is closer than you see”.

Collective exhibition of digital art on generative artificial intelligence and the Mediterranean landscape, featuring conversations on AI, sustainability, and culture. A collective, city-wide exhibition and a multimedia exhibition trail exploring the fluid relationship between ecology, memory, and technology, with water as its central element and as a symbol of a primordial intelligence that connects, adapts, and regenerates. Developed in the city of Matera, characterized by calcarenite architecture, cisterns, and underground water known as “palombari” – the exhibition unfolds across two distinct venues, extending throughout an institutional framework of excellence.
